If you like limited edition gadgets, here's a cool one for you. Apple has launched a special version of its AirPods Pro to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Since the next year is Year of the Ox in the Chinese calendar, Apple's new AirPods Pro – noticed by 9to5Mac – have a little image of a cow on the box and engraved on the earbuds' case. The image is actually a reworked version of the cow face emoji.
These limited edition AirPods Pro are only available in certain Asian markets, such as China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
That seems to be it as far as changes go — this version of the AirPods Pro appears to be exactly the same, functionality-wise, as the regular variant.
SEE ALSO: Apple is reportedly working on two foldable iPhone modelsTo mark the occasion, Apple has also changed its logo to be a little more ox-like on Apple China and some other regional websites.
The price for the limited edition AirPods Pro is the same as usual. For example, in China these cost RMB 1,999, just like the regular version. They ship immediately, and purchases are limited to two per order.
